This week, I received an intriguing invitation to the Woodburn Art Center, a place I was only vaguely familiar with from the “Meet the Artist” events hosted on the first Sunday of each month and the evolving art displayed near the County Cottage. While I’ve always enjoyed these artistic showcases, I must admit my understanding of this vibrant creative community was quite superficial. However, when my neighbor invited me to a gathering, curiosity sparked within me, urging me to dive deeper.

As I stepped into the meeting, I was immediately enchanted by the remarkable talent in our neighborhood. The air was thick with inspiration, and I was surrounded by passionate individuals brimming with creative expression. Here, we excitedly brainstormed the idea of incorporating an ‘Art Show’ into our upcoming Morning Brunch event. The prospect of adding a splash of color and creativity to our community gatherings filled me with enthusiasm. I couldn’t help but dream about the exhilarating possibilities ahead.
