Today was an absolutely fun new adventure! At the ripe young age of 65, I decided it was finally time to give bowling a shot for the very first time. Off I went to the Woodburn Bowling Alley, where I joined the incredible group from our community who have been gathering every Tuesday. Lots of energy as we filled the entire bowling alley with 33  folks ready to roll!

The teams were randomly drawn, and I found myself teamed up with two very patient guys who had to put up with this ‘newbie’ on their squad! But they were super great,  giving me helpful tips and encouragement throughout the game. Despite my fair share of gutter balls,  I couldn’t believe it when I scored not one, but four strikes and even a spare! I was very pleased for my first time ever to bowl. 

In the end, our team even snagged a prize!!  We came in last place, having the lowest score, earning us a dazzling $1 each! What a fun-filled day and a whole new experience! Can’t wait for the next Tuesday bowling bash! 🎳✨
